Patchwork & Quilting Video Help - Ch ch ch changes

Well my Quilty Friends, I mentioned last year that I was going through ch ch ch changes.
And,
I'm so excited because one of these ch ch changes means you can now access all my How To Videos in one place - Horay!
SEW
Click on this pink link to take you straight to my video channel of 28 P & Q video tutorials.(so far) Where you can click and learn and view all my videos in one place - simples!

And I have been busy busy busy in the background working away on this and my other blog Joyofstitching.
Here are some pics of my own work featured on Joyofstitching.

Lots of ch ch changes will be un-noticable to you (hopefully) but they will make my blogs better, faster, cooler and slicker - well that's the aim anyway.

You may have noticed I've taken down some of the pages on this blog and also altered some.
I have created a page named P & Q Video Tutorials where all my Patchwork & Quilting Video Tutorials can be accessed in one place.
It's a never ending learning curve as things in blogland change and update so fast.
BUT
It's a challenge I'm more than happy to take on - well, most of the time anyway.

Sew, enjoy my videos and look out for new ones coming soon - including how to bind a quilt.
ALSO
If you have any patchwork and/or quilting queries please ask and I'll do my best to help you.

Skinny Quilts & U.F.O.'s

As we come to the end of U.F.O. January
Some of us have started on our next project
Skinny Quilts
Above are two of the Skinny Quilt books some of you are working from.
And below is one of your W.I.P.'s (work in progress)
from one of the above books.
(The pink link above will take you to Amazon where you can look inside the book
on the left of the picture. And find information on the other one too.)
Little tip - if you are thinking of buying these books we found it
worthwhile looking around as prices differ quite a bit.

This vision in pink belongs to Ros.
And she is making it as a Skinny Quilts for the bottom of her bed.
This small splash of colour is going to give her bedroom a real zing!

Below is a close-up of one of Lyn's blocks from her Skinny quilt
where she has used a pre-printed panel cut up as the centre of her blocks.
Lyn is going to stitch  the centre blocks.
Here is another view of Lyn's Skinny Quilt.

We have a three Lyn's in class now - most confusing.
So this week we decided to call this Lyn 'Scottish Lyn'
No prizes for guessing why!

Moving on or back to our January U.F.O.'s
A big round of applause please for Gaynor
who has finally finished her grandsons Thomas's
Road Quilt - just in time for his visit this weekend.
The finished U.F.O. below belongs to Ruth.
Ruth said she was pleasantly surprised how little was left to finish her
Poppies Quilt
Sew my Quilty Friends,
It's not to late to join in with us to finish off just one U.F.O.
Just one little one.
or
Join us on our Skinny journey,

U.F.O. Quilts

My challenge to you all for January was to finish off one U.F.O.

We have had a few in this week.
Gaynor has finished this beautiful flower.
I love the hand stitching detail on Gaynors flower.
Lyn has finished the Advent Calender she started before Christmas
And she said that it would have stayed unfinished until at least next Christmas.
She was so glad she had got it back out because there wasn't actually much to do
to finish it off.
Cath doesn't want any fuss - so she is hiding behind
this quilt she has just finished for her grandaughter.
And Eve got out her unfinished Welsh Quilt
And was pleasantly surprised at how
little she had to do to finish it off.

Sew

Come on ladies, dust off just one U.F.O.
you too might be pleasantly surprised how
quickly you can finish it off.
And
Just think how proud  you will feel of yourself
Going from U.F.O. (un-finished  object)
To
T.F.O. (totally finished object)

Yours in Stitches, Joy.
